Jo-Ann
Or whom I usually call, Annie.
To my older readers, you all know who she is. To the newer ones, Jo-Ann’s my 18 year-old cousin who is currently doing her ADP at HELP college. You can read a little more about us here and you can also check out her blog here. She’s currently teaching me how to incorporate the word ‘feel’ into a BM (Bahasa Melayu) sentence.
* Jo-Ann says: Hari itu, saya telah menemani emak saya ke pasar. Di situ, kita telah FEEL buah tembikai untuk memilih yang paling sedap.
Now, don’t you see a couple of errors in that sentence? Firstly, of course it has to be the overly absurd use of the word ‘feel’. Secondly, WHO ON EARTH FEELS A WATERMELON BEFORE BUYING IT? Well, at least we now know that Annie and my aunt does it. ![]()
Okay, it’s already 3.42 AM and I’m still awake. Seriously, I’m going to bed.
Good Night!
Love,
Mich.
/edit/
Omg, she just read the post and now she’s arguing that people to FEEL watermelons before they buy it. Like, hit it or something. But I do not agree you see. Masya Allah, malam ini aku tak payah tidur lar. (-.-”)
/edit2/
I drew her this diagram and she totally said that I was damn smart and she worships me.
It’s 4 AM, I’m seriously REALLY going to bed. Nights! ![]()

I Have Funny Parents plus The Fish Spa
Remember this picture from the previous post? Well, this picture was actually bluetooth-ed to my dad’s phone instead of mine you see. This was what happened over dinner.
Me: Eh dy, send me the Sean Kingston picture.
Please bear in mind, that to my dad, anything more than 100KB is big. (-.-”)
Dad: *Finally finding the picture after some donkey years* Wah, the picture is 276 KB! Quite a lot of space right? My memory card only has 1 GB of space!
Me: Don’t worry lah, 276 KB is a very small file only.
Dad: No la, I think Sean Kingston very fat, that’s why he took up so much space.
After taking a moment to understand what he was trying to say.
Me: ………. OMG DY YOU ARE DAMN LAME CAN?!?!??!
Did you get what he was trying to say? Masya Allah… I nearly fainted.

On a different occasion, one day, in the car on the way to somewhere,
Me: Ma, this is Mariah Carey’s new song.
Mom: What’s the name of the song?
Me: Touch my body.
Mom: See la, always asking people to touch her body. So terrible! What kind of song is this?
Me: ……
In her defense, she isn’t the old-fashioned and conservative kind of mother ok! She loves new songs. Just not Mariah Carey, I don’t know why. Earlier on she was telling me about Usher’s new song, Love In The Club. Said that the song has a very catchy tune and told me to go download it. My mom’s like that. She always tells me to download the latest songs and all. She’s like, the most adorable mother that you can ever find. I’ll let this out to you all lah but don’t go ask her about it (although I know she’ll read this). My mom and I have a ‘secret handshake‘ thingy. You know the ones you and your classmates used to have when you were 9? Lame and cheesy, I know. But that’s how close we are. We’re practically friends.
I know the title also includes “The Fish Spa” but really, it’s 3 AM now and I’m half talking to Annie while blogging and I’m really really tired. Can I blog about it tomorrow? Or maybe Sunday cuz it’s the Monash Street Carnival tomorrow and the thing ends at 12 AM. I doubt I’ll have energy left to blog. Wait, wtf. Why am I asking you for your permission. Damn it, I will blog about it on Sunday! ROAR! I’ve such a long day ahead tomorrow, starting with me going down to One U with Chee Hoe to get the Freedom ‘08 tickets. Any of you going?
Here’s a sneak peak though. Do check back.
XOXO
You know you love me,
Gossip Girl Michie.
“Life is not a highway, it’s the LDP at 6 PM”… Thank you for that my friend.
P/s: Annie, I know you’re the very first one to read this post and I know you’re very stressed up with exams and all but please do take good care of yourself aite? Me love you!
When Michie Met Kisean Anderson.
Or better known as Sean Kingston. I know I’m a little back-dated about the whole Sean Kingston hoo-ha but I do wish to blog about it although I’m no big fan.
Picture adapted from Jean’s blog.
I did not attend the so called ‘concert’ at Zouk. After reading Kenny Sia’s review about it, I realized that I did not miss a thing. The next day, SK had an autograph session at Subang Parade. Why Subang Parade you may ask considering that we have the hip and happening Sunway Pyramid. Honestly I don’t know as well. I remember that it was on a Saturday and I was there with my mom running some errands and suddenly, I saw this.
Then I knew, that the big tub of lard was coming.
There weren’t as many people as I expected though. His autograph session was scheduled to begin at 1 PM and this one only turned up at 2! I hate it when stars like them aren’t punctual. And this is like, an hour late! They always think that it’s cool to swoosh in an hour or two later than their scheduled time. Not cool okay.
So as usual, he signed cds and posters and I noticed that there were A LOT of kiddy fans. The kind from his age group lah. There were even a huge group of 7 to 9 year olds!
Believe it or not, before he left, I had the honour of treating him to ten a scoop of Chocolate Chip Dough at Baskin Robbins. You have no idea how jealous the girls around were. They nearly ripped my hair off.
Sean Kingston giving me the peace sign to thank me and after snapping this picture, he sang to me, “You’re way too beauuuuutiful girl.” This time, the girls nearly ripped my clothes off.

You didn’t really think I’d buy him ice-cream did you? Well, he really did buy ice-cream la but his bodyguard bought it for him. I stole the picture from the Baskin Robbins server. ![]()
P/s: I am not a fan okay. I just wanted to blog about a fat celebrity.
More in the next post!
Love,
Mich.
